This boy, whose name is Archie, is already seven years old and lives in an orphanage in Bulgaria. He never knew his biological parents because he had Down’s syndrome. The poor child was completely alone until a family noticed his pictures on the internet.
Thus, a couple who had a four-year-old daughter went to Bulgaria to adopt this boy. The boy immediately became part of their family, becoming close friends with his new sister. However, not everything went smoothly.
When their other relatives learned of this news, various terrible prejudices, criticisms and condemnations immediately descended on them from all sides. Everyone started criticizing him at the same time and worried about having to take care of a sick child.
