The thieves are trying to steal horses for slaughter, but they didn’t count on two Rottweilers to stop them

Brenda Kramer, a Florida resident, awoke unexpectedly early on Sunday.

She awoke to Rottweilers barking loudly and snarling angrily, and she immediately hurried to the barn where the sounds was coming from.

When she learned that someone had made a bold effort to kidnap her horses, she was astonished.

Brenda claims that they might have killed them for meat. Brenda resides in Pasco County, on the fringes of Zephyr Hills.

She thinks that the assaults on her horses by three prospective killers were brought on by her solitude.

A little side entrance allowed the burglars access to the barn.

Brenda saw that the power had also been switched off in the stable when she rushed to check out why her Rottweilers were barking.

The fact that one of her animals still had a rope fastened around its neck proved that the Rottweilers had delayed the assailants’ job in progress.

Brenda continued to check the horses and discovered little scrapes and scratches on them that suggested a fight.

There is no question that the outcome of this tale would have been even more sad if it weren’t for the Rottweilers who were guarding the area.

The battle also resulted in damage to Rottweilers. One of the dogs was stabbed twice just above the left eye while battling invaders.

Sadly, horsemeat can be extremely valuable on the illegal market, which the authorities claim is why the attacks are happening.

Brenda was fortunate that her devoted Rottweilers thwarted the assailants, but some people were less fortunate.

In some instances, residents in nearby counties awoke to discover that their horses were gone or, worse still, had been half butchered.

The local Pasco County police are looking into the issue, but regrettably they do not yet have enough proof to connect a string of horse killings.

They are warning all local horse owners to stay vigilant in the interim.

Horse owners should consider ensuring that all access points to their property are secure, install lighting with motion sensors, and pay attention to their pets, if any.

Thanks to Brenda’s lovely Rottweilers, her horses are secure. Share this incredible story with your friends and family to make their day.
