Doggie let out to pee unintentionally participates in half marathon, finishes 7th

Ludivine, a 2-year-old Bloodhound from Alabama, was having a typical day.

She was at residence doing her own thing, performing the same stuff she does every day.

She had no idea she would be Elkmont’s superhero for the day.

She was allowed out to use the restroom by her master, and while she generally wanders the region around the property where she resides, the commotion of the full marathon that was about to begin drew her interest.

The doggie found her way to the start position, and as the competition started, she proceeded to sprint alongside the competitors.

She most likely assumed they were simply messing with her. After mile after mile, the doggie has always run beside the front pack.

She even paused along the trail at one time to chase a bunny, bark at a certain cattle, and sniff some flowers she discovered along the road.

Notwithstanding these delays, she finished the marathon in 7th place in 1 hour, 32 minutes, and 56 sec, earning a trophy for her outstanding performance.

The officials were so moved by the outpouring of support for her that they chose to name the race “The Hound Dog Half” in her memory.

The tournament will be renamed in her honor because the organisers were so thrilled with her achievemnet.
