In November, cops responded to a report about what seemed to be a doggiw laying in a filthy box.
When they came, the dog was covered in excrement and obviously malnourished.

«We discovered that the doggie was nearly dead. Officer Wagner stated to The Huffington Post, “We transported her to the Austin Animal Hospital, where the doctors began emergency care.”
«The temp of the doggie was too low to be recorded with a thermometer, and she wasn’t twitching at all. We didn’t believe she’d make it.»

But an angel, a veterinary technician called Elizabeth, raced to the aid.
She saved the pet’s life during the following few hours.

The veterinarian also gave her a hot bath and used a hair dryer softly to boost the dog’s body temp.
«I just chatted to her for the first few hours. «I assured her she was adored,» adds Mancera.
Sophie, she named the puppy, and she concluded she wanted to take in this courageous little fighter.

The doggie has healed completely and is cherished by her new family.
«She will never be hungry again, and she will never be freezing again,» Liz declares. «I am certain of that.»
