It was a typical Monday morning. Connor and Seamus rode aboard a bus full of glowing youngsters to class.
Arthur, 77, was driving the bus. He collapsed on the bus floor unexpectedly.
«I didn’t notice him falling. But there was a rumbling from his fall. The bus then began veering to the right into the dump,» Connor said.
Connor realized he had to act right now. Alternatively, a bus full of children may have been involved in an accident.
He felt he had to halt the bus no matter what occurred. «I sprang up, slammed on the brakes, and shouted to my younger brother to dial 911.»
After the bus driver collapsed, Seamus instructed his pupils to be patient and sit in their chairs.
Seamus related: «I attempted to calm everyone. I assured them that everything would be OK and that the cops were on their road. I comforted one of the pupils who was weeping.»
Because of their bravery, these 2 young men were able to safeguard the lives of everyone on the vehicle.
The bus may have veered off the highway and plummeted into a ravine if it hadn’t been for the quick thinking and actions of these two brothers.
