Jan, a terminally ill lady, has been away from her beloved Cav Charles V Spaniels, Monty and Rowley, as well as a pony called Bob, for about a month.
After many weeks in the medical center, she was transported to the Hospital of the Great Shepherd, where she encountered an amazing discovery.
