This is a sad story about a lost dog and a woman who never stopped looking for him. After more than 2 years they have finally met!
Cameroon Juments and the dog first met in 2014. The adorable husky was just a puppy and Cameroon was looking for a partner more than ever as he battled severe cancer. She named him Semper Fidelis.
Unfortunately, something terrible happened in 2017. Cameroon had to travel to California for further treatment and she left him in the care of her roommate, but was then told that her beloved Husky had disappeared.
Cameroon was in desperate need of a dog and she put up flyers and advertisements everywhere that her dog was missing. But she did not lose hope and a year after the disappearance of Semper, she did not leave her search.
She even turned to a private investigator for help and then she discovered something very strange.
For a whole year she looked for him, posted ads on websites, called 15 veterinarians in the area where she lived, called animal welfare societies, a shelter, but decided to double-check her AKC Reunite chip. It was then that she learned that a woman had added her name a year earlier.
It turned out that the dog was microchipped 2 times without checking whether he already had a chip. Shortly thereafter, they decided to sell the dog for $200. That is why it has not been found for a long time.
