Florida Rescue fills a bus with Hurricane-led dumped animals

It’s devastating on so many levels, simply put.

Families who had been wiped out by the flooding of Hurricane Ian late last month struggled to rebuild their lives.

Lost animals walked the streets in need of assistance. Fortunately, the Big Dog Ranch Lifesaving bus was already in route.

The Big Dog Ranch Rescue executive manager Robin was overcome with emotion as she encountered numerous animals who had been abandoned by their owners.

The rescue bus was stocked with pet food, blankets, crates, and other supplies and was prepared to assist anyone in need as it traveled through the roads of Florida.

The Dodo said that Friedman described the situation as “absolutely awful on so many levels.”

Soon, their bus was crowded with stray dogs who were all relieved to be traveling to a secure location where they could rest.

Reuniting pet owners with their family is the rescue’s goal. They don’t want someone who has already experienced great loss to also lose their dog.

They have been pleased to offer families temporary housing while they decide what to do next.

It always feels nice to know that you can put the babies back with their owners, according to Friedman.

The rescue stepped in, offering to keeping both dogs safe until the family was ready to take care of them again when a family with a 7-month-old newborn and two devoted Labradors feared they might have to give up their beloved canines.

Thanks to the rescus, several of the canines that were dumped lonely and without a fam have received devoted, lifelong homees.

Even though plenty Floridians are stil battling to get back from the catastrophe, with aid from organizationss as Big Dog Ranch Sanctuary, fams and their gratefull canines are gradually geting on their feet.
