A chained doggie who feels neglected by its owner and is unable to lie down only desires one thing

Tales like this one are all too common. A family acquires a doggie, only to put him outdoors on a leash in all types of weather—cold, rainy, and scorching hot.

Hank had no other life; it was brutal , ruthless. According to ilovemydogsomuch, when responders received a call from a worried neighbour, they realized they had to act.

They were horrified when they arrived at Hank’s home. In the icy rain, he was perched on a chain.

Mud was present everywhere. Even his water and food bowls were missing.

What type of family abandons a doggie in such a way? Hank was allowed to travel with the rescue team that day because the authorities decided to get involved!

At the veterinary facility, the volunteers learned some distressing information.

Hank’s health was poor. He had distemper, which has a 50% chance of recovery.

The poor puppy was terribly anemic and undernourished. His immune system had been weakened.

Hank thus required a lot of one-on-one attention. On social media, the rescue organization appealed for assistance.

2 women came up and said they wanted to take him home. They volunteered to take care of him all the time.

He received a lot of affection in addition to his prescriptions, a decent place to live, and food.

His new parents ensured he attended each doctor’s visit, that he ate healthfully, and that he had a good night’s sleep (on the sofa or in their bed, not on a chain outdoors).

He at last felt at ease and at home. He slumbered around all day. Even though he was sick and frail, he was still able to wag his tail and sit on his mothers’ laps.

Hank might have had a long life and was still young enough to do so, but his old owner wrecked that for him.

Without the right treatment from a young age, such as immunizations and a healthy diet, Hank continued to decline.

Even though his demise is tragic, the fact that he felt loved throughout his last moments is a success in and of itself.

Every doggie should live a joyous life. His satisfaction resulted from this.

His mothers held him as he passed the rainbow bridge and said, “Hank, we love you.” Sweet boy, RIP!
