The creature was exploring in the courtyard of a property when it fell into the void inside a well more than 5 meters deep.
After his desperate barking, the puppy managed to catch the attention of the family who immediately decided to call the specialists in such situations – firefighters.
The place was too deep for an untrained civilian to descend there.
In a matter of a short time the firefighters arrived at the place and analyzed the situation, as the puppy looked quite desperate they did not know what his reaction would be at the moment that the firefighter entered the cramped place.
In a case like that, stress could cause the creature to attack the lifeguard, so the men decided to try something without it being necessary for any of the rescuers to get into the well.
With the help of a rope they were going to get him out.
The incident occurred in a neighborhood of the city of Goiás in the surroundings of the Federal District and it was the Formosa Fire Department, who came to the rescue.
These men are experts in handling this type of situation because it was not the first time they had attended an emergency of this type, but what surprised them the most was the reaction of the animal when seeing the rope.
Somehow the puppy made their work a lot easier.
Despite the ideas that the rescuers had made of the animal, the puppy that was identified by the people as Ferrugem was quite clear about what was happening and understood that these people just wanted to help him.
For that reason, at the moment when the firefighters threw the rope as a decoy to be able to climb it, the dog did not bite it as they expected but did something much better and smarter.
Thanks to their cooperation, he was able to get out unharmed.

As soon as he had the rope attached to his body, the men began to pull so that the puppy climbed to the surface.

Sometimes many furry people die inside these wells, because they do not receive help or find a way out.
