When Animal Aid received a heartbreaking call about a dog dying in the middle of the road, they quickly rushed to her. All this time they tried to maintain their optimism.
Rescuers thought that if many dogs were in such a critical condition and survived, then she would survive.
But she wasn’t even conscious. Poor child !
Veterinarians tried to save him. Returning to the rescue center, she was immediately examined. She remained semi-conscious. On examination, no bone fractures were found, but the neurological examination showed poor results.
But can she survive? They weren’t sure at the time, but they didn’t want to give up!
She was named Sona, she received a serious head injury. Her wound was small, but she was treated. Then they made a drip and introduced the necessary nutrients and antibiotics.
On the third day, a wonderful volunteer tried to get her to eat. She wanted to eat, but still couldn’t swallow properly.
By the 6th day, she was able to swallow better, although she was still unable to support her head on her own.
On the 10th day, she was walking by herself. It was clear that she had a long way to go. But everyone knew that she was strong and determined.
Although Sona’s neurological injuries were severe, they said it was treatable. There was so much power in this little girl. She inspired everyone around!
After 6 weeks, she took her first steps on her feet. She refused to give up!
A few weeks later, she is still staggering, but she is incredibly strong and already walks well. She lives in a good family, loves to play and, of course, cuddle! She even loves kittens!
