This article is about sperm. It turns out that they are sleeping. Scientists have been trying to find the answer to this question for a long time.
And now the photographer Franco Banfi managed not only to see, but also to capture the sleeping sea giants in every detail. Scientists were able to record sleeping sperm whales on film for the first time only in 2008.

In the same year, scientists from Japan and Great Britain managed to meet them, and it turned out that these creatures live part of their lives in a dream. They sleep in short intervals, about six to thirty minutes.
Sperms, which may seem clumsy, in their native oceanic elements appear to be the epitome of grace and harmony.

These unique creatures look even more terrifying next to people.
