The street dog Hera gave birth to her cubs on the street in the most terrible winter frosts and, since then, has been full of worries and worries about how to feed, warm and get the kids out.
And literally the next day, a snowstorm began and it became even harder for her, and the puppies were very small and defenseless. Later, she crawled up the snow and found shelter in a drainpipe, which was damp and cold and took care of her puppies for days on end, who had already caught a cold.

She jumped out of the pipe at the sound of a car and begged people to save their puppies, but people were indifferent and no one helped the already desperate mother.
But the man Milan, an employee of one of the shelters, found out about the whereabouts of Hera and he went to rescue the dog family in the strongest snowstorm.

Most of the pipes were covered with snow and Milan tried to track down the dog with the help of paw prints and finally found her. Hera seemed to understand that they wanted to help her and her muzzle shone with joy, while the man’s heart sank when he saw the little puppies who were shivering from the cold.

The task of rescuing the puppies turned out to be more difficult than expected. They had no experience of communicating with people and, unlike their mom, they were afraid of men and did not want to leave the cold pipe. By nightfall, Milan began to realize that he would have to act quickly.
He showed remarkable courage and ingenuity to save the kids and now the whole family is safe thanks to this kind young man.
