It was very cold outside and the bus driver David was shivering from the cold. He opened the bus doors and a group of warmly dressed children boarded the bus. Trembling, she asked the children to hurry. One of the girls told the driver to ask her mother to buy a scarf for her.
However, the driver said that his mother is not alive, otherwise his mother would have bought him a very beautiful scarf. The girl said that her mother bought very beautiful scarves for her and she asked David to buy one too. David was the school bus driver, a chubby man who always smiled.
The children’s warm laughter brightened his day, and he loved his job, despite the poor pay, which often started arguments between him and his wife. But when David was alone on the bus after dropping the kids off, he was often sad, thinking about his problems and thinking about solutions.
He was a very kind man, but the farmer was not paid well enough to pay his debts. As the weather was very bad that day, he decided to drive slowly so as not to get stuck in the snow in the middle of the road. When they got to the school, he told the children to be careful on the way down.
After taking the children to their place, the driver decided to drink hot coffee in the school cafeteria. But just as he was about to get off the bus, he heard a soft cry and stopped. Then he noticed that there was still a child left in the car. It turned out that the child had a cold and their hands were frozen.
He told that his parents had no money and promised to buy him new gloves next month. The driver took off and gave his gloves to that child. He also promised to buy new gloves for the child. The boy wiped his tears, thanked David and went to class.
In fact, David did not have such a friend. So he spent his last money to buy clothes for the boy. When the driver gave the bags to the boy, he got excited, the boy hugged the driver. A few days later, David was unexpectedly called to the director’s office.
The director was thanking the driver. He told that the girl’s father is a fireman who received serious injuries, so they are currently having financial difficulties and this man’s action was a great help for the family.
David was also worried about the other children. So after she got her paycheck, she bought more scarves and gloves, filled the shopping box and left it in the school building. The principal and several parents appreciated what he did and congratulated David in front of the whole school.
Soon his salary also increased.After this incident, a fund was created in the school to continue this wonderful initiative.
