We know, we know, it’s too early to be talking about Christmas. But, that being said, Christmas gifts are appearing in stores, music is beginning to be played. Even if you are a bit of a Grinch and hate this early Christmas cheer, you need your presents prepared! You don’t want to be doing all your Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve, do you? Now is as good a time as any to start stocking up on presents, and maybe think about those cute family photos for Christmas cards.
However, one photographer is changing things up a bit with their photos. Usually, you’ll put your kids on Santa’s knee or pose them with an elf. A sleigh or reindeer would make the perfect Christmas card! But what about the Grinch?

Kim Durham of KD Photography changed the game with her slightly scarier snaps! The Arkansas native surprised kids with the Grinch instead of Santa who they were expecting! She then captured their shocked expressions for everyone to chuckle at.
While he genuinely terrified some kids, most got over the initial shock. In fact, some legitimately loved seeing the infamous movie character in real life!

“Our Grinch doesn’t always cause the tears,” reassured Kim. “We have kisses, hugs and little baby snuggles too! Dont be alarmed – the kids in this photo aren’t traumatized. They high five’d, hugged and gave our Grinch knuckles at the end – parents are always close by.”
The photos look amazing, and would make for perfect Christmas cards! Would you take your little Whos for a picture with the Grinch, or stick to the traditional Santa Claus? Why not both?! Kim offers a fun alternative, especially for kids who are fans of the Jim Carrey movie.

Hairdresser Performs Miracle To Transform Toddler’s DIY Trim

Every adult looks back at old photos and wonders what their parents were thinking. Whether its clothes, styles, or haircuts, bad decisions were made. However, some kids always took it a step further and tried to cut their own hair. This, for some unknown reason that might be to do with the fact that toddlers are not trained hairdressers, ends badly. And it’s exactly what happened to toddler Kimber. Luckily, her mom knew a hairdresser who could sort it out.
Kimber was playing with her older brother, who is three years old when their mom noticed they were unusually quiet. That’s when she knew something was wrong. She rushed upstairs and saw the damage.
Mom Breana said she found the chop quite funny but knew she couldn’t show that in front of the kids. She quickly called her friend and hairdresser Jen Bullock to sort out the DIY job. Jen quickly got to work, doing her best to save the toddler’s hair.
It’s at this point that we should point out the dangers of leaving scissors around children. Yes, parenting is difficult, and you can’t keep an eye on your kids at all times, but be careful. Especially when they’re around scissors, hair is the least of your worries. Even if they’re just crafting, it’s better under supervision.
Anyway, Jen is clearly a miracle worker and an excellent hairdresser, because she cut little Kimber’s hair into such a great style! She went for a quirky asymmetric pixie cut, which really suits her! It’s certainly a step up from the nightmare that her brother created! Who knows, maybe the three-year-old will grow up to be a professional hairdresser? He’ll need to work on his skills before then…
