There is a similar story about this lion who was a slave in the circus for many years and now enjoys freedom. His name was Mufasa. This animal was saved thanks to Animal Defenders International.
It’s as painful to live most of your life in chains as a Mufasa slave was a circus lion who looked very poor and helpless and slept in a truck.
Indeed, the circus forbade keeping the animals in these conditions, and thanks to the ADI, which found all the animals in captivity, Mufasa was also finally released. But because he could no longer live in the wild, he was taken to a sanctuary. There, the staff took care of him.
But during his years in the circus, unfortunately, the animal had many problems that shortened his life․ Mufasa passed away a few months after his release, thankfully enjoying the upper part of his life.
