This woman became famous for her strength and compassion. He fled Ukraine with his dog on his shoulders, they walked about ten kilometers in that direction but he did not leave his friend. It was a really valuable step.
Alice told all of this to The Guardian and described her difficult journey with her family and her dog.
He lost his father the day before the bombing of Ukrainian cities. He carried his old dog on his shoulders for about fifteen kilometers.
During the arduous journey, the 12 and a half year old German Shepherd tried to get up and walk. The dog tried to cross the road on foot, but fell with every step and nothing came of it. My mother’s dogs are the only ones she has left from her old life.
It was difficult to leave Ukraine, they had to manage without a husband. Everything – life, house, loved ones – remained in kyiv!
