An elderly dog sobs in agony as he walks on the “biggest claws our crew has ever seen.”

As soon as a puppy’s claws contact the floor, they should be clipped by a skilled expert, such as ilovemydogsomuch, who notes that frequent claw trimming makes a dog joyful, fit, and coordinated.

Long nails on a doggie are unpleasant and are the equivalent of running all day in very high shoes. No doggie should have to endure the agony of uncut claws.

The Marion County Animal Shelter in Florida recently discovered a stray doggie with the worst nails they had ever witnessed.

The 10-year-old Lab mix came at the rescue in bad shape. It was lumpy and had the biggest nails shelters employees had ever seen.

“A few of Docena’s nails were so big that they began curling and sliding violently between each other,” based on a Post on facebook.

The doggie could only have wound up like that if he had been neglected. No one understands how long she was alone, but her fingernails were in dire need of attention.

Docena’s fingernails had to be gently trimmed since they were so lengthy. Some malignancies had to be excised under anaesthesia as well.

More than a third of female doggies that are not sterilized will acquire at least one breast tumor in their lifespan, according to the shelters.

Because these tumours are frequently malignant, it is best to have a doggie spayed or sterilized if required.

They also revealed that the doggie was presumably born with a limb abnormality.

It does not appear to be an issue for her because she constantly uses the limb.

She  is being looked after by the Humane Society team as she progressively heals and discovers the pleasure of moving without excessively long nails.

We hope her a speedy recovery and encourage our readers to constantly check the length of their puppy’s claws.

If it is appropriate to clip them, see your vet or a pet groomer. Share this story with your friends and family and be careful.
