This boy made a strange request to the soldier. He asked his father for a plate of cake as a gift and was shocked to find a life-size plate on his doorstep the next day.
Tom was going to school like a normal day which was not far from home, he was still walking. But that morning she saw her mother and started crying. She asked her mother with excited if her father would come over for Christmas.
Tom’s father was in the army. His father and grandfather were also in the army. The mother hoped that the father would definitely come home during the holidays. So with tears in his eyes he left the house and he saw another soldier and he wanted to realize an idea
He approached the soldier who had met many of these children who approached him asking for money or candy. He thought Tom was going to ask him the name, so he took some pennies out of his pocket. But the boy had an unusual request.
He took a pie out of his bag and asked to pass it to his father. And he said he wanted his father to come home. All of this moved the soldier very much, but he did not know how to help the poor boy. Confused and excited, the soldier took the boy’s lunch box and the smile left his face.
Eventually he tracked down the boy’s father and it turned out he hadn’t been home for seven months. The soldier was very happy that he was able to reunite the happy family.
