This is the touching scene in which a newborn fox was discovered “sobbing for his mother” in the backyard of a local resident.
With the assistance of the kind folks at the Animal Welfare Society of Arlington in Virginia, it was quickly reunited with its mom.
The local resident spotted this newborn fox, who was alone and weeping for his mother, after hearing a little scream emanating from their yard, according to the rescue’s social media accounts.
“They immediately phoned us!” When two officials finally came, they discovered the cub to be “awake,” “hydrated,” and “full.”
Given that they thought the mom of the infant “was very probably someplace close,” they placed the puppy in a container “so he couldn’t jump out and go off, but the mom would be able to quickly bring him out.”
Once safe, the cub was deposited “in a safe area in the yard,” while being observed to await its mom.
“We are delighted to announce that by the following morning, the mother had successfully reclaimed her son!
