It turned out that Melissa is a single mother and it is very difficult for her to take care of her three children, especially since the prices of goods have increased. She had two jobs to make ends meet. During the week, she worked as a waitress in a small restaurant in her town. On weekends, she worked in a friend’s hair salon.
One day when Melissa went to work, a guy came by and ordered the biggest burger in the restaurant. The boy said he was new there and didn’t know where he could have lunch.
His mother was sick and the poor child was starving. Melissa gave him some money and told him he had nowhere to go. She remembered there was a restaurant across the street that opened early, but he there are a lot of people there, so Melissa decided to accompany the child.
