The bear currently resides at the Olympic Match Homestead in Washington, which is home to thousands of animals spread across vast areas.
It’s uncertain how he wound up at the ranch; he could have been saved from a zoo and couldn’t be released back into the wild.
But, at the very least, he is independent to live his life as he wishes.
People come to the homestead to see the magnificent animals on occasion.
As in the case of the woman in this tale.
She made the decision to wave when she spotted the bear.
His reaction? Absolutely fantastic. Visitors come to the homestead to gain knowledge more about biodiversity and to see living creatures they might not see in their natural habitat.
One such visitor seated in her vehicle one day and nonchalantly waved at the animal, to which he responded by waving back!
