Two men were traveling on the Trans-Canada Highway when they observed an unusual “bag” in the snow on the side of the highway.
When they came closer, though, they discovered that the bag was floating.

When one of the men got close, he discovered it wasn’t a bag, but rather something living.
The “bag” moved. And the men noticed a creature stranded in the snow in front of them.
It was revealed to be a doggie. The snow was knee-deep, and getting a stranded doggie was difficult.

As a result, they called Steinbach and Area Animal Rescue.
When volunteers came and picked up the doggie, they were astounded by her state.

The poor fellow was completely coated with woolen knots.
The puppy’s fur indicated that she had spent a few hours in the snow. She even attempted to build herself a sofa out of snow.
It was even difficult for the poor doggie to crawl. As a result, she was taken to the automobile.

She was embraced by love at the rescue and was granted the moniker Riley. The doggie was discovered to have a fever and malaise.
Her health was rapidly recovered. The specialists then tackled her woolen knots.

Riley eventually got rid of the knots and became a regular doggie after a couple of hours of haircuts.
She never ceased praising the people who saved her life! They began looking for owners for the gem almost instantly.
And one family was delighted to take her in.
