Benjamin and Hope went to great lengths to find a sitter for their young son, Finn.
The Jordans felt they’d found a suitable individual to babysit for their kid while they were at job after a background investigation on Alexis Khan, 22.
Khan is currently in bars, due to the family’s doggie, Labrador Retriever-German Shepard mix Killian.
Finn’s torture at the hands of his nanny was only witnessed by Killian.
Whenever Khan visited the Jordans’ home, she would snarl and stay between her and Finn, as if guarding the child from his nanny. The couple was really taken aback.
“We began to notice about 5 months after her being our sitter that our doggie was really defensive of our son when she would arrive in the doorway,” Benjamin explains WCSC.
“He was really violent towards her, and we had to actively keep our doggie from approaching her a few occasions.”
Benjamin and Hope couldn’t understand their doggie, who was always loving and welcoming to everyone he encountered, had acted so strangely around the nanny.
They could no longer tolerate what she was urgently attempting to express.
Hope proposed to her spouse that one day they conceal an iPhone behind the sofa in order to capture what was happening on in their house.
They went for job, the phone stowed out of view, ready to record the day’s happenings.
The Jordans were not expecting to learn that the lady they had respected was behaving aggressively towards their child — and that’s precisely what they witnessed on the hidden iPhone recording.
“It all started with swearing,” Benjamin says. “Then you detect slap sounds, and his weeping shifts from concern to agony.”
The worried parents even detected what they thought were noises of Khan squeezing Finn on the tape, which might have easily beaten or severely damaged their baby.
“To realize that 5 months ago I had turned my kid over to a psychopath, not being aware of what was going on in my home that day,” Benjamn exclaims.
Khan has recently admitted guilt in a Charleston Appellate Court to battery and assault.
She is been sentenced to 1 to 3 years in jail for assaulting this cute poor baby.
She will be eligible for parole in a year, but she must stay on a child abuse register until then.
The dad feels that if it hadn’t been for Killian, Finn would have died at the hands of his abusive nanny.
