Meet Petey, the dog that was abandoned with his sibling in a park because he was unusual.
While taking her kid home from school, a mom from Sacramento, noticed the dogs and hurried them to the veterinarian.

They were malnourished, sluggish, and as frigid as ice. Petey’s sibling died shortly after arriving at the facility, but Petey remained determined to fight for his survival.
The doctors quickly realized there was something amiss when the pup couldn’t move correctly.

Petey had cerebellar hypoplasia, a neurological disease in which the cerebellum is not fully formed.
“This can happen owing to hereditary factors or infections in the mom during pregnancy,” Sacramento SPCA vet Dr. Laurie informed The Dodo.

“There are indicators such as head bobbing, awkwardness, and tripping.”
Petey, on the other hand, is a boisterous, inquisitive, and goofy doggie, according to Westphal-Thomson, the pup’s foster mother.

“He’s also incredibly self-assured and likes to meet new people…”
He learnt to feed on his own and enjoys playing and snuggling.

The orphaned dog was quickly fostered by a joyous and joyful couple who adores him and would never forsake him as he is precious.
