Someone dumped a 15-year-old Australian Shepherd doggie on the side of the road in early 2021.
The aging doggie was quite overweight and coated with maggots. She had no idea why she was lonely, but she had a tremendous want to survive.

Animal rescue groups did everything they could to save her and give her a house.
Despite the fact that many adopted family did not recognize her due to her age, one caring individual opted to assist her.
The once-ill doggie has found a new home. She’d never have to be alone again. Someone saw a doggie named Belky roaming along a Michigan roadway.
They contacted the Saginaw Police Dept, who transported her to the Saginaw County Wildlife Care Facility (SCACC). The doggie was taken to a vet facility for a medical assessment by volunteers.

SCAC handed her to the Animal Protection Organization of Midlands District after healing the doggie of maggots and placing it on a diet. They looked after her till she could find her beloved family.
She slimmed down in preparation for adoption. The BISSELL Pet Charity organized a special recruitment movement called “Empty Shelters,” which linked the senior doggies with her adoptive family.
Brianna fell in love with her after seeing her in a picture shared on Facebook.
When she finally met her, she realized they were made for each other. She acquired an elderly doggie and provided her with a loving home.

«I understand that older doggies are more challenging to admit, because everyone wants pups that will stay with them for a looooong period.
And because she requires medications, it will be even more hard for her to locate a place to live,» she explained.
«I was extremely fortunate the next day when I had time to go to the rescue and find her still there.»
