The 4.5-meter beast was really on its way to the water.
«I was so startled I couldn’t say anything,» recounts eyewitness Charles.
The crocodile initially lay on the floor and relaxed before quickly rising and heading again for lake.
«Gators frequently visit golf resorts in this area. But it was the largest one we had seen.»
This crocodile has previously been on the golfing team’s fairways, according to club personnel.
As a result, some call him the Buffalo River Golf Course’s symbol.
