Husky used to breed babies till she couldn’t walk anymore, but she was saved in time

This is the story of Maya, a puppy that was saved by Sylvia, a young woman with a huge heart.

She was living in a so-called “baby factory” in Goiânia, Brazil, 5 years ago, where her chances were utilized to give birth to young huskies.

She was so fatigued. And as a result of the heinous treatment and circumstances, she developed paralysis in her rear legs.

Maya’s terrible health issues made her worthless to the subterranean shelter, and the owners decided to let her go.

But Sylvia came to the aid, giving the unfortunate canine a second chance at life.

Maya, a Siberian Husky, was kept in an unlawful facility in Brazil and exploited to produce babies. Sylvia is an animal rights activist.

And one day, her coworker got notification that the proprietors of an unlawful shelter were attempting to get rid of the dog since she was no longer profitable to them (puppies).

They intended to feed her rat poison in order to “stop her agony.”

She was discovered in a freezing cage with injuries on her body and paralysis of her hind legs.

«August 28 will be a date I never forget. When we came, she was bleeding profusely,» Sylvia explained.

«She was drinking her own pee and eating her own excrement, and it crushed my soul to see that.»

«When we placed her in the vehicle, we could see how relieved she was to leave the place.»

«After being tortured and bound up, Maya became paralyzed. She was having trouble breathing.»

Sylvia did not leave her for 48 hours since the doggie was critically ill. But there was a great yearning to live in her eyes.

«Maya was hesitant at first, but who could judge her? She had never experienced love or affection.»

«In the 5 years she’s been alive, she’s only seen a frigid cage and cruelty from people.»

She was rescued and subjected to 1.5 years of care aimed at restoring not only her physical but also her emotional health.

«Knowing Maya’s tale, I knew she’d never walk anymore, and that was never an issue for me…»

She has changed beyond recognition in the 5 years since her rescue.

We can appreciate not just generous individuals for this, but also Maya’s great resolve to survive. Share it with your friends and family.
