Having a pet at home is undoubtedly a source of joy, especially for the little ones at home. They become the most loyal friends, playmates and adventures, and often it is they who take care of the human babies in the family, defending them from possible dangers.
An episode of the infinite capacity of love and loyalty that a pet can have towards a child was experienced in the vicinity of Ávila, Spain.
The events took place in the year 2018 but now they have gone viral again on the networks
The two-year-old was walking at night with her dog and her father in a village in the El Barco region, in the Municipality of Gil-García, when she suddenly lost sight of her.
The same could happen with puppies, who can disappear from our sight, and what distressing moments they can get to spend! But this time it was the girl’s turn.
Exhausting all efforts to find her, the father had to report the disappearance to the Civil Guard, who immediately activated a search device to locate the little girl.
As reported in a statement, the disappearance was known at 19.20 hours and after seven and long and distressing hours of desperate search by security forces and numerous neighbors of the village of 41 inhabitants, 91 kilometers from the capital, the happy discovery happened.
Fortunately, at two in the morning, she was found in the bush, but she was not alone and it could not be otherwise. They found her asleep, curled up, sheltered and protected by her dog. A scene worthy of documenting, and that filled the distraught father with tranquility.
The Mountain Rescue and Intervention Group (Greim) of the Civil Guard and members of the Nature Protection Service (Seprona) heard the grunts of the girl’s Podenco dog, which allowed the agents to follow the trail.
The little girl’s condition, except for a few scratches on her body, was “good”, although investigations were opened anyway to clarify what happened.
A story that has greatly touched by all the forces deployed in service of the search for the little one. However, what fills us with joy the most is that if it weren’t for her loyal and adorable pet, we wouldn’t know right now how lucky the little one would have been.
