Kitten spends a lot of time helpless on the street, they look at her ultrasound and she decides to trust
A tabby kitten was found wandering the streets of Camden, New Jersey. She was not alone, her tummy was a portal to life, she would soon give birth, so it was necessary to take her off the streets.
A good Samaritan decided to change the uncertain fate of the mama cat and her pups and provided temporary help until Kitkat Playroom, a rescue center in southern New Jersey, took her in.

In the shelter her rescuers prepared a comfortable and quiet place for the future mom. Jen Mack, the founder of Kitkat Playroom, commented:
“We put her in our nursery and she investigated the whole room in a matter of minutes. His fur was matted and dirty from living outdoors and foraging for food. We immediately started with high-calorie foods and hoped that there would be enough time to get the nutrients for the babies.”
The sweet cat was named Miss Marple. At first she was not very receptive to her caregivers, it is possible that in the past she has not received good treatment from some people and was elusive with those who tried to help her.
He didn’t stop hissing, and he growled constantly at his foster mother.

In this regard, Jen commented:
“For several weeks, it seemed that he hated me more every day. And then, on the afternoon of February 16, it was as if a switch went off, and suddenly she was the most affectionate cat in the world with me.”
That same day, Marple went into labor, oddly enough, she insisted that Jen stay by her side, it’s as if she had recognized that she was the best protector for her offspring.
“While they were in labor, I purred. That’s when we bonded and I realized that she finally felt safe.”
The new mother gave birth to five healthy kittens, Kinsey, Sherlock, Cagney, Drew and Spencer. She immediately revealed her protective side and became the most attentive mother. Together with their foster mother, the kittens were well fed and loved.
“She did not leave his side for a whole day, not even to use her box. I brought food to the nest. We became best friends during that time. She even falls asleep while I stroke her belly.”
Although Mis Marple is very protective of her pups, she lets Jen pamper them, she also allows her to carry them daily to monitor their growth.
The cat is attentive all the time, preens them and always looks for the best position so that her babies can feed comfortably.
Every day that passes, the kittens are stronger and more independent, they open their little eyes curious to discover the new world to which they belong. Together they go on small adventures while their mother closely follows every step.
“She hugs her babies and pulls them closer to her with her little paws,” Jen said.
When the mother cat is not watching her young, she enjoys lying on her back with her little paws outdoors. He loves to greet all visitors and give tender friendly purrs. She seems to know that she wants it, she does not hesitate to ask for it.
“Mis Marple is bold. At only one year old, she is very playful and will throw herself headlong to ask for attention. It will be great to see her playing with her kittens as they get older,” Jen noted.
It’s only a matter of time before the kittens are big enough and not dependent on their mother, by then, the cat will be ready to be sterilized and find a home where she will spend her life as an adult being loved.
For now, her kittens are still growing by leaps and bounds and enjoying the care that their mother and Jen give them.
