A woman ended up absolutely bewildered and surprised when, thinking that she was taking her dog after picking it up from the hairdresser, she suddenly saw a too strange attitude in her pet.
Tykesha Cherry got a surprise as soon as she got “her dog” in the car
After having the worst suspicions, she decided to take a picture of “her dog”. Lucky, 10 months old, was sitting in the car seat next to Tykesha, but clearly something strange was happening to him.
His expression on his face immediately revealed his face of few friends and that he was not comfortable at all.
Immediately, the puppy looked in the most suspicious way at the camera. That’s when Tykesha, who lives in Virginia, USA, decided to make a video call to her boyfriend. She wanted her partner to help her scrutinize what was wrong with her beloved Maltese poodle.
Lucky was usually the most loving and caring and now he looked so angry

“I went to pick up my puppy, I came in and the lady at the counter said, ‘Oh, are you here for Bentley?’. I said, ‘No, I’m here for Lucky,'” Lucky’s owner recounted.
“While she was walking away to get the dog, I was dealing with the receipt. I look up, and I see a dog in front of me. I didn’t get a chance to get a good look at it, all I saw was white. I go to the car and put it in. He turned around and I thought ‘he looks so different’,” Tykesha explained.
Once on the way home, only when he repeatedly called his cute Lucky, without getting any answer, he noticed differences in the pattern of his fur. She could also tell that her paws, pink and usually soft, were now dry.
Clearly, that wasn’t her dog
“To make sure, I video-called my boyfriend, Quinn, and showed him the dog. He said ‘uh, it looks different’. I told Quinn I was about to start driving and he said ‘don’t do it’. I’m starting to think it’s not Lucky,” the woman said.
“I was looking at his paws and his ears. I noticed Lucky didn’t have that weird thing around his eyes. That’s when I knew that this was not my dog,” she said stunned.
Tykesha had no choice but to return to the hairdresser with the impostor dog under her arm. When he handed it over to the workers of the place and told them his suspicions, they immediately confirmed that this angry furry was actually another named Bentley.
The totally confused and embarrassed staff returned him without hesitation to the real Lucky
“I jumped straight out of the car and ran right away. It was the same woman who was at the door and she said, ‘Hello, Bentley!…I was like ‘this is not my dog, where is my dog? Where’s my puppy? Everyone was in shock. I understand the confusion, they are both white, but I thought they would have tags on the back or something,” Tykesha reflected.
“I was definitely relieved when I met with Lucky.”
Despite the terrible confusion and thanks to the fact that everything ended in the best way, Tykesha assures that she would return to the same place, she thinks that a mistake is made by anyone.
However, since he disseminated the images on the networks, many Internet users dedicated themselves to discrediting the hairdresser saying that they would not even take their consents there to end up losing them.
She actually thinks that they did not deserve so many attacks from the networks for their mistake. To the point that the employees of the place themselves were surprised by Tykesha’s good and understanding attitude.
Tykesha explained that although at first her heart was almost paralyzed, later she was laughing, especially because of Bentley’s attitude, who did not understand at all what he was doing in that car with that unknown woman.
“The post and the anecdote was funny, so I’m going to take the good and the funny out of the situation,” he concluded.
