Jesse Kozechen’s 29-year-old dog named Shurastey was his adventure companion and best friend. Since 2017 they traveled the world in their white beetle of the 78th year, a Volkswagen Beetle. They visited 19 countries.
The images that the influencer shared on his Instagram profile, with 526 thousand followers, captivated everyone’s attention.
The inseparable travelers knew magical destinations, they had a special connection that went beyond the screen and that will continue to exist until eternity.
Unfortunately, one of their trips ended with a tragedy in which both lost their lives.

The young content creator did not imagine that fate held in store for them a traffic accident on one of his trips.
Last Monday was their last adventure, but they started a new life in eternity as they would always have wanted to be: together.
The incident occurred while Jesse was driving his vehicle with his dog on Redwood Highway (US 199), located in Oregon, United States, his Volkswagen hit another car after losing control. They would say to Alaska, they were missing two days of travel to reach their next destination.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident was a 62-year-old woman, Eileen Huss, who was traveling with a minor. They were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
It was on Thursday that the sad news of the death of Jesse and his Golden Retriever dog, Shurastey, was confirmed. The family of the young man from Balneário Camboriú is making the necessary procedures to repatriate their bodies and be able to say their last goodbye.
The traveling duo had traveled 19 countries, in Brazil, Jesse’s native country, they are making a campaign for Netflix to produce a story of the influencer and his dog.
The loss of these fellow travelers has shocked the whole world, millions of people admired the young man who together with his faithful friend enjoyed the most beautiful places in the world.
There is no doubt that the love of Jesse and his dog Shurastey goes beyond life, they will remain inseparable and we will all remember them with infinite affection.
Through the photos and videos that Jesse shared, he made us smile and reaffirmed how pleasant it is to share life with a dog as a pet, they are animals that know how to love unconditionally.
The dog Shurastey and Jesse had Instagram profiles in which he posted postcards of the destinations they visited.
The dog’s account is verified, she was the protagonist of the trips and became a celebrity. He has 1.3 million followers.
This last tour started from Fusca Rumo in Brazil, they were thinking of getting to Alaska, before they visited Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama and other countries.
Jesse’s last post was of their beetle with the tent on the roof that they slept in to rest during their long haul, which was two days away from reaching Alaska.
Jesse accompanied the photo with a description in which he told his followers that they were camping in Oregon.
“One of the last @bluecamping camps within the United States 😬 eeee my friends it’s time to enter Canada and finally head to Alaska (…) We are camping in the state of Oregon in the middle of nowhere and from here we continue our journey towards the border with Canada 👀 but first let’s visit some guys I’m a fan of!!!”
