This is a cute homeless cat who lived on the streets of Montreal. It was difficult for him to live outside in a particularly harsh winter.
Once a guy noticed him and fed him, he made him a little house under the stairs to make him a little cozier and warmer.
One day a girl saw a cat and when she approached her the cat ran away. The girl saw that it was very dirty under the stairs.
In fact, the cat was very afraid of people and always ran away from them, he lived under the stairs and did not trust anyone.
The girl called the rescuers and when they arrived they saw that the cat was a bit sick and needed the help of doctors. He had a problem with his ears, and he also had a lot of scars. He froze in the street.
They had to stay there for several hours to feed the cat and catch it. They needed the cat’s trust. They immediately caught him and drove him to an orphanage where he was fed and cared for. He was scared at first.
The cat was about 8 years old, skinny and had viruses, ulcers etc.
They pulled out his teeth to relieve him of his anguish and pain. The cat was finally able to get some sleep. After that, his stomach and thyroid were treated.
He gets everything he needs and is gradually gaining weight, which is great. He has already begun to like people and not run away from them.
Volunteer carers Alvin and Morgan took him to their foster family and gave him love and confidence.
But it took a lot of patience for the cat to finally trust them and climb into their lap for the first time. At first he was very sad and the owners had to show all their love so that the cat would trust them.
They did everything to make it more calm and relaxed. He even started playing with other cats!
He really likes to lie on the sofa and now he has changed a lot. He even made new friends. And yet, he likes to lie near the window and watch passers-by and animals.
After years of roaming the streets, Golden the cat is now safe, healthy and living the life he always dreamed of.
